Quitting smoking

Smoking is one of the biggest problems of today.Now to quit smoking, there have been good books.I might not be adding anything new but am trying to make a sincere effort.

Smoking in my view can be due to various factors.One of the important things to be borne in mind is that it is a very good agent against illicit sex.Consider this.In Paksitan,one out of every two men smoke.Pakistan as all of you might be knowing is a muslim-majority country.For muslims,alcohol and any kind of intoxicants are absolute taboo.Perhaps that is one of the major reasons,boys catch up with smoking early on in their lives.Also,illicit sexual intercourse is another absolute taboo.Smoking as most of you might be knowing is known to cause sexual impotence.But trust me,in these days of AIDS and various other "gold mines" of sexually transmitted diseases which have reached alarming levels in virtually every nook and corner of the world;smoking might be a potent factor in preventing this.Smoking,especially the last puff,is considered by many young people to be the first kiss of a girl.

Boys who smoke might be committing less acts of illicit sexual intercourse than boys who don't.I am in no ways encouraging smoking but there must be something in nicotine which craves the sexual appetite of men and does not propel them towards morally indecent sexual behavior.

I will be posting my ideas on virtually everything but my prime goal would be to be of some use to this world,to give back at least an iota in lieu of the enormous things i have obtained from this wonderful world of ours.
